Advance Information Services Ltd (AIS Ltd) agree to allow the User to access the information contained on this website. This information is received from a variety of sources including county council websites, government bodies, local and national newspapers, private businesses and others. All usage is therefore governed in turn by those organisations Terms and Conditions of trading, which you are also agreeing to be bound by.
Electronic Communications
When you register with AIS Online you are opting in to receive communications from us electronically usually by email. You may opt out at any time.
From time to time we may also write to you in letter format. In using or visiting AIS Online you are agreeing that all notices, and communications that we provide to you electronically or otherwise, satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
Users should be aware that unprotected e-mail communication via the Internet is not secure and it is subject to possible interception, loss or alteration. AIS Ltd is not responsible for and will not be liable to the User or anyone else for any damages in connection with any email sent by the User to AIS Ltd or an e-mail by AIS Ltd to the User or anyone else at the Users request
User Obligations
Log in passwords are personal to the User and should not be shared with third parties. The User is responsible for the safekeeping of their password. AIS Ltd is not responsible for any loss or damage suffered by a User as a result of other parties accessing the website using their passwords. AIS Ltd will be indemnified against any loss incurred by them as a result of such use.
The User shall notify AIS of any change in the information provided for the AIS Online account.
Links and Advertisements
Links to or from web sites and resources may be provided on our site. These links are provided solely as a convenience to the User of this site and not as an endorsement of the contents of such third-party sites. No responsibility will be accepted by AIS Ltd for the service or advertisement placed or provided through our website.
Fees & Refunds
New subscriptions must be paid in advance of subscription commencing. Existing subscribers must forward payment within 30 days of receipt of renewal invoice – otherwise AIS reserve the right to terminate subscription.
AIS do not operate a policy of refunds. Refunds may be accepted on first time subscriptions if requested in writing within 21 days of date of subscription payment.
Editorial Content and Policy
AIS Ltd, to the best of its ability, research and gather data on all planning applications and building related projects. This data is stored by AIS Ltd and is available to subscribers on the AIS-OnLine service; access to this is by Username and Password which is provided to the subscriber at start of subscription. The weekly AIS reports contain a comprehensive listing of these records. However, the weekly reports may not contain some planning applications considered non-significant such as some retentions, minor revisions to approved plans etc.
Data Protection Act
It is the responsibility of any person wishing to use the personal data on planning applications and decisions lists for direct marketing purposes to be satisfied that they may do so legitimately under the requirements of the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003 taking account of the preferences outlined by applicants in their applications.- Article 32, Planning & Development Regulations 2001 –2007.

AIS Ltd believes the information is accurate but it is not guaranteed. AIS Ltd accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, expense, or any delay in providing updated information or inconvenience suffered by a customer as a result of a Users use or interpretation of, or reliance upon, any information (be it accurate or otherwise) provided from this website.
AIS Ltd reserves the right to suspend the website and or search in the event of a technical difficulty without notice. AIS Ltd will make every effort to ensure that any disruption will be kept to an absolute minimum.

This research will include gathering data from County Council websites and by personal visits to Council planning departments and contacting companies and persons associated with building projects, planning applications and tenders.
If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be held to be illegal or unenforceable by a court or authority of competent jurisdiction, these terms and conditions shall be given effect to in such reduced or amended form as shall result in them not being illegal or unenforceable and the provisions hereof shall be regarded as severable accordingly.
